When writing research papers with citations, you should attempt to adhere to this guideline by using only original data in the research paper. If you have to use material from another source, it should be clear that it was added to the original.When using secondary citations to support the primary source, avoid directly citing a particular work. Rather, cite the person or organization who produced the primary source. Do not use one citation to refer to another without appropriate citation.It is also advisable to avoid using reference letters or quotes from the primary source. Instead, use the phrase 'secondary sources.' Additionally, if quoting from a secondary source, be sure to incorporate the source's name into the paper.Som e journals provide a form for writing articles, called the Article Manuscript Reference Format (AMR). The AMR makes it easy to check the legitimacy of a secondary source. The AMR ensures that each citation is written from an original source.
